- Obtained rulings in district court and Ninth Circuit that K-12 school district properly determined that Student was not eligible for special education based on a learning disability, despite becoming eligible 3 years later
- Obtained ruling in district court that K-12 school district properly determined that parent could not sit in on assessments due to risk of altering the results necessary to shape autistic student’s educational program
- Obtained rulings in district court and Ninth Circuit that K-12 school district was not responsible for educational costs of student whose parent sent him to “Wilderness Boot Camp” to avoid consequences of criminal behavior
- Obtained dismissal in Superior Court of wrongful termination case, based on failure to file government claim, involving employee who physically attacked a student for “mouthing” off at him
- Obtained ruling in Superior Court that K-12 school district not obligated to pay money damages in any case claiming impermissible student fees
- Wrote closing brief in successful due process case which determined that K-12 school district was not required to provide student with a bilingual behavior aide in immersion program

- Structured settlement for county office of education regarding unsubstantiated claims of failure to provide education in juvenile hall that was limited to a study and recommendations by educational expert
- Obtained nuisance value settlement in high school bullying case where district officials had no knowledge of mutual dispute between two students
- Structured settlement for severely disabled student that created robust educational trust in lieu of damages requested by parent
